Where oh where to begin...
So a long time ago... I was asked by a charity group called Jedi OKC "How would you like to dress up like a girl Stormtrooper?"
If someone asked you, how you would feel, about being given the chance to dress up like a Storm Trooper, regardless of the reason... What do you think you would say?
My brain exploded. Thus began the Cosplay obsession of things that is now called "T.O.T."
HI. Im Specter. Lemme 'shplain sumting to joo... Imma tell you 'what is this is'.
Back in the day I started out dressing up like a Storm Trooper an super heros. I got to be a Jedi and even a Ghostbuster a bit, and I started my travels with Jedi OKC, and doing various events. It got me into the wonderful world of costuming. I even outfited my old truck for a parade!

I aint fraid of no Ghost OH MY GAWD THERE'S GHOSTS!? RUN! |
It was like magical-happy-fun-time-sparkle-friend-land-club-day-times. I had just come out of the WORST time in my entire life, and I was having a ball. It probably saved my life.
But for me it didn't stop at a few fundraiser walks, hospital visits, and parades.... No. No it did not.

IM SUPERBAD! (ANd giggly heehee) |
I LOVE TO DRESS UP O_O I will find any excuse on the face of the planet to dress up for something. Even if it's just a black tie event. There's something about dressing up that makes whatever your doing have more relevance. Seem more special. More important.
Back in the day, people wore certain garments to tell us many things. They still do actually... Many cultures around the world use dress to show family, caste, stature, ethnicity - Garments are made for all kinds of working purposes, protecting us and helping us in certain jobs. They identify people of significance and specialty like military, emergency and religious organizations.

That's all well and good and part of the circle of life and everything - Joyus Glee, etc - But have you EVER watched a movie... Read a book or comic... Or seen an anime and thought to yourself "I. WOULD LOVE TO BE THAT CHARACTER"?
Welcome to the wonderful world of Cosplay my friend. Dont worry - You're among friends.
o_O *one of us one of us gooble gobble gooble gobble* O_o
Basically its like this. I got into costuming. I have a youtube show where I interview bands and showcase the crazy things I do. I like Gothic industrial music, fashion, and culture quite a bit, and sometimes I just dress up in rubber and blue led's and go bellydance at raves... I mean... It happens. *sips tea*
One thing though that's really enriched my life was meeting great and amazing people who liked the things I liked. Who shared the same passions. Who desired the same experiences.
Dats how I mets my Blu.

DATS MAI BLU! |
I tried to make furry legwarmers once - I made alot of them in different colors - But I was really worried they wouldn't fit people, so I made the leg hole at the top a bit wider than people normally would.
Blu purchased a set of said leg fluffies at a Gothic Industrial Dance Night, and I spent the entire rest of the night creepily stalking her trying to help her get them to stay on... The way any total stranger vending in the pitch black of a darkened smokey dance club who's twice your size would touch your legs repeatedly...
Thus - A wonderful friendship began, and sometimes we dress up like anime characters and go about our days. Merriment is had by all.
Check us out here to see how we make things and dress up in it. Check out our 500 other sites for video tutorials, concert footage, interviews, photos, music, and pretty much everything, except the cake... You know what that cake is...
I promise I wont touch your legs.... O_o
